Job summary

A community blood bank is seeking an enthusiastic Phlebotomist in Lake City to perform blood collections, manage donor registration, and ensure donor eligibility. This full-time position offers a starting salary range of $15.50 - $17.05 an hour and a robust benefits package, including generous paid time off and health insurance. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors.
• Register donors for blood collection in the LifeSouth system.
• Determine donor eligibility based on interview and physical process.
