Job summary

Community Health Network in Indiana is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and related specimen handling under the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor. You will adhere to all regulatory rules while delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, courier duties, processing samples for referral or storage, delivering specimens to the designated laboratory, and assisting with clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection duties.
• Provide laboratory courier service and countywide program support.
• Process samples for referral or storage and deliver specimens to the designated laboratory section.
• Set up cultures in microbiology when needed.
• Answer and direct incoming communications.
• Assist with clerical duties when required.
