The ideal candidate has at least one year of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomy program completion or certification preferred.
At least one year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Knowledge of safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform blood draws and laboratory procedures professionally and courteously.
Verify patient identities and maintain accurate records for all procedures.
Educate patients on collection process, specimen handling and storage.
Label and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring integrity.
Communicate effectively with lab staff, management and healthcare professionals.
Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA/HIPAA regulations.
Participate in ongoing training to maintain phlebotomy skills.
