Job Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt

Location: 25480 West Cedar Crest Lane, Lake Villa, IL 60046

Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Total Weekly Hours: 15 hours)

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement

Job Overview: Trilab Health is seeking a flexible and skilled Phlebotomist to work in a healthcare facility in Lake Villa, IL. This role involves performing blood draws and other lab-related procedures, ensuring accurate specimen collection and handling. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Familiarity with safety protocols and handling hazardous materials is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and other laboratory procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify patient identities and ensure accurate record-keeping for all procedures.
• Educate patients on the collection process, including specimen handling and storage.
• Accurately label and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring their integrity.
• Communicate effectively with lab staff, management, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with OSHA, HIPAA regulations, and laboratory policies.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and update phlebotomy and lab procedure skills.
