Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant for part-time day shifts in Central Testing. You will perform patient phlebotomy, collect and process specimens, and handle registration and data entry in a fast-paced lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training (preferred), and BLS within 90 days. One year of experience is preferred; phlebotomy certification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy course (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining high-level customer service.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
• Register and enter test data.
• Monitor supply levels.
