Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work flexi days in Central Testing at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

The role involves performing patient phlebotomy with strong customer service, collecting and processing specimens, and handling registration and data entry while monitoring supplies. Prior phlebotomy and BLS within 90 days of hire are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• Phlebotomy course (preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy and collect, label, and process specimens for testing.
• Register and enter test data.
• Monitor supply levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
