Responsibilities

• Properly identifies patient before obtaining specimens and labels samples.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Performs routine laboratory procedures as required at time of collection.
• Operates lab equipment and maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assists in training new personnel within phlebotomy policies and procedures.
