Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist in Bakersfield, CA to draw samples and prepare specimens for lab testing in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This contract role requires accuracy, patient interaction, and adherence to safety protocols.

The candidate will work onsite with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays. California phlebotomy certification is preferred; state credentials are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA.
• State credentials/licenses required (YES).

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.
