Job summary

The Pinehurst Medical Clinic is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples, prepare requisitions, and ensure proper labeling. You will work under supervision in a patient-centered environment that uses the latest lab technologies.

This role is scheduled for Day Shift (Mon-Fri) with no weekends or holidays. Required: phlebotomy training program and BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire. The clinic is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program is required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary method.
• Prepare lab paperwork and ensure requisitions are correct.
• Label specimens with at least three patient identifiers.
• Secure specimens for analysis and deliver to processing lab.
• Distribute final lab reports to physicians as requested.
• Perform waived testing and other duties as assigned.
