Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to draw blood and prepare specimens for the lab. You will ensure accurate patient identification and proper specimen handling in a supportive clinical team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a phlebotomy program, and BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Day shift, hourly pay, and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of an approved community college-based phlebotomy training program is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Draws blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary method.
• Prepares lab related paperwork including requisitions and ensures proper labeling.
• Ensures patient test samples are sent to appropriate laboratory.
• Ensures that appropriate diagnosis codes accompany patient lab orders.
• Works under the direct supervision of MTs and MLTs.
• Performs waived testing and other duties as assigned.
