The role involves operating the Hospital Information System, handling specimens, and supporting clerical work to ensure accurate test processing. Shift is Day (0300-1130) with rotating weekends/holidays, on-site at 7400 E Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.

Qualifications

• Performs phlebotomy and related clerical tasks.
• Greet visitors and handle reception duties.
• Operates the Hospital Information System for lab orders, data entry and reports.
• Supports daily workflow and coordinates mail and staff communications.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, prioritizes, and obtains blood draw requests.
• Operates hospital tube system and processes specimens per policy.
• Receives outpatient specimens and verifies patient IDs.
• Registers patients and retrieves chart reports in HIS.
• Greets visitors and manages front desk communications.
• Coordinates daily work assignments and mentors new staff.
