Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect specimens from patients of all ages and process orders per protocol. The role emphasizes patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced lab setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with phlebotomy class or experience preferred. Work is Monday through Friday, 8am–2pm, at our Pflugerville location, with opportunities to support multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; phlebotomy class preferred.
• Phlebotomy class completed or 1+ year of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsabilités

• Collects laboratory specimens from patients of all ages.
• Processes orders and specimens according to protocol.
• Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA and contracting standards.
• Promotes professional customer service.
• May flex to other clinics as needed.
• Aids training of new employees and students.
• Maintains cleanliness and inventory of the laboratory.
