WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
  • Utilize your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection, including transporting and setting up equipment, creating a welcoming environment for donors, and following safety procedures.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
  • Connect personally with donors, sharing the impact of their donations.
  • Work with teammates to ensure a friendly, welcoming environment for donors.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • May involve driving Red Cross vehicles and setting up/taking down equipment. A minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.
Standard Schedule (Great Falls, Montana):
  • Variable hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Overnight travel may be necessary.
  • Schedules are provided 2-3 weeks in advance.
Pay Information:
  • Starting at $18.00/hr, with potential increases based on experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience and effective communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular hours. Minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.
  • Ability to work as part of a team setting up and tearing down mobile blood drive equipment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT).
  • Leadership experience.
