Responsibilities

• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and collect specimens as required.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Package and transport specimens following protocol to ensure specimen integrity.
• Verify test requisitions and matching with patient scripts.
