Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Glens Falls, NY. The role involves performing phlebotomy duties, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring accurate data recording.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm, with alternating Saturdays 7am–12pm. The assignment is 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Minimum requirements include 2+ years of phlebotomy experience or certification, proficiency with MS Office, and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using venipuncture or butterfly needles.
• Label specimens and centrifuge as required, maintaining proper labeling and tracking.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination steps per established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
• Verify test requisitions against sample labels for accuracy.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations
