Job Juncture in Manassas, VA is seeking a phlebotomist for a contract position with potential to convert to permanent. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with an estimated duration of three months and possible extension.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data entry, and maintaining patient information. A valid state phlebotomy certification and at least six months of experience are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include valid Phlebotomy certification as required by the employing state.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperature.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure labeling accuracy.
