Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen handling according to procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
• Document maintenance data and align with physician orders.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients; maintain courtesy and professionalism.
• Ensure sample integrity by proper labeling, temperature control, and storage.
