Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to support fast-paced clinical operations. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent placement.

Experience: 1+ year in diagnostic phlebotomy; State phlebotomy certification as required by the state; proficiency with MS Office; HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process and specimen collection to patients.
