Modern Machining Solutions Inc. in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract opportunity with a potential to convert to permanent. Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with an expected duration of about 3 months.

The role requires 1+ year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, valid state phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will perform venipuncture, label specimens, and ensure proper sample handling and documentation while adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• At least 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate equipment and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
