Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture procedure to patients in a clear, courteous manner
• Ensure specimens are stored and transported per procedures and guidelines
