Job summary

Southeast Medical Group is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in a technologically advanced setting. You will collect blood samples safely, label and transport specimens, and enter data into the EHR with precision.

This role requires a high school diploma, completed phlebotomy training, and certification within 6 months of hire; prior clinical experience is preferred. Flexibility for evenings or weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages.
• Label, process, and transport specimens to the lab with proper documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and manage biohazard waste per procedures.
• Enter patient data and test requests into EHR with accuracy.
• Assist with inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and lab staff to ensure patient care.
