Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to accompany the Laboratory team in obtaining and preparing specimens for analysis, supporting outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients. You will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor using a handheld computer to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited phlebotomy program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) is required.

• Obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis under supervision.
• Use a state-of-the-art handheld computer to ensure patient safety.
• Support the Phlebotomy Supervisor in daily laboratory operations.
