Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Westminster, MD. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with every other Saturday 7:00am-11:00am. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service at a client office.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional site as needed and flexibility for overtime are noted in the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
