Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in the Suwanee & Alpharetta, GA areas. The role involves performing blood collections for all age groups, collecting specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and billing processes. You will travel to additional sites as needed and support exceptional patient service.

Week schedules vary, with regular shifts and potential overtime. A PST Incentive Plan bonus may be available based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
