Job summary

Labcorp's PAML unit in Kent, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and to provide superior service at patient service centers or client offices.

You will collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, assist with billing when needed, and travel to additional sites as required. Valid WA Phlebotomy license is required, with 6+ months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license required.
• Ability to travel to additional sites as needed.
• Strong customer service and data-entry capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
