Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for full-time night shifts (8-hour shifts, typically 11pm-7am). The eventful role involves labeling and delivering specimens, collecting blood, and maintaining lab equipment within a 355-bed acute care facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ASCP or NHA certifications preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Education
