Carter BloodCare is expanding our team of Phlebotomists. The Phlebotomist 2 is a lead role in safe blood collection, including venipunctures, donor flow, eligibility, and top-notch service. This position supports mobile drives and donor centers across Texas, with training and leadership opportunities.

We offer paid training, competitive pay starting at $18.75 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. Full-time schedule with some variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general work experience OR medical field internship/externship.

Apply now and take the first step toward an exciting and fulfilling career!The Life of a Phlebotomist 2What does a Carter BloodCare Phlebotomist 2 do?The Phlebotomist 2 position is a lead role in the safe collection of blood products and comes with exciting responsibilities! In addition to sterile venipunctures, you will facilitate donor flow, assess donor eligibility, and deliver top-notch customer service while ensuring compliance with regulations.This opportunity will include leading your team’s daily functions and using effective problem-solving to resolve any personnel or donor concerns.You will also have an opportunity to participate in annual leadership/development training and guide new team members. Regular full-time attendance during operation hours is important to keep everything running smoothly!Training Schedule for External CandidatesDuring the training, which can last up to nine weeks, the days and hours will vary depending on mobile drives or Donor Centers’ hours and may include early mornings, late nights, and weekends.Standard Schedule After TrainingTo best meet the needs of our donors and the community, team members work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
