Pride Health is hiring an ENTRY LEVEL Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Tallahassee FL 32306. This 03-month assignment offers a contract-to-hire opportunity and a chance to start with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Location: Tallahassee, FL 32306. Pay range: $17 - $17.75 per hour. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7a-1p ET. Salary determined by experience and licenses/certifications held.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for diverse patients.
• Prepare, label, and process specimens for testing.
• Explain procedures clearly and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry with high precision.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Provide strong customer service while upholding company image.
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Location: Tallahassee FL 32306

Pay Range: $17 - $17.75 per hour

Duration: 03 months+

Schedule Mon-Fri 7a-1p/ Eastern standard time

*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.*

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients using established procedures
• Prepare, label, and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately for laboratory testing
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and create a calm, professional, and trusting environment
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accuracy of patient information and documentation
• Perform daily duties on time under the direction of the area supervisor
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at all times
• Complete required records, logs, and data entry with high accuracy
• Demonstrate strong customer service while promoting a positive company image
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
• Follow all policies, quality standards, and process excellence guidelines

Qualifications

• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• A minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required.
