Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a Phlebotomist to deliver patient-centered care in a laboratory setting. You will collect specimens from inpatients, outpatients, and emergencies, performing blood draws and clerical duties under the direction of the Laboratory Director.

Experience in phlebotomy is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. PTO is offered, with weekend daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, and options for additional

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients.
• Perform phlebotomy/blood draws for patient treatment.

• Answer the phone and assist with laboratory data entry.
• Compile and maintain statistical data for the laboratory.

Performs waived status laboratory testing as directed by Director of Laboratory.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent required.
