Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for St. John's, FL, working every other weekend from 2:30PM to 11:00PM. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and customer service.

A high school diploma and some phlebotomy experience are required, with certification preferred. Responsibilities include travel to additional sites as needed, processing billing, and maintaining accurate logs.

Work Schedule: Part time working every other weekend 2:30PM-11:00PM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
