Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at our Patient Service Center in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering exceptional service to patients.

The position requires a high school diploma and 3 months of phlebotomy experience; certification or training is preferred. You may travel to additional sites and work standard daytime hours with potential overtime as

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

• Proventrack recordin providing exceptional customer service
