Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a Medical Clinic in Pueblo, CO. This role requires venipuncture and capillary techniques, data entry, and strong customer service skills.

The position includes travel to additional sites and a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with potential overtime. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, with 6 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a Medical Clinic in Pueblo, CO. 81008.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program6months or more experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM* : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
