Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team in Florida. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and may involve travel to additional sites as needed.

The schedule is 20 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-12:00 pm with rotating Saturdays, offering opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Work Schedule

20 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-12:00 pm, rotating Saturday.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
