Job Description:
We’re hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we’re here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors.Every day you will helpsave lives and have a vital impact on your community.

$18.64 - $19.69 / Hour based on experience

Training Information:
Training for this role lasts approximately 12 weeks and is based out of our Greentree location.
Weeks 1-2: Classroom and hands‑on training with a trainer, including travel to various Donation Centers and mobile sites.
Weeks 3-4: Field experience alongside a preceptor on mobile drives and at site locations.
Weeks 5-12: Continued training in specific skilled areas could include Phlebotomy , Medical Interview , Alyx , and Trima (approximately 4 weeks per area).
After successfully completing training and final assessments at Greentree, team members may continue to travel to various fixed and mobile site locations as part of their regular schedule.
Schedule After Training: This is a full‑time role with variable hours scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. Employees work five days per week and are required to work every other weekend.

As a Phlebotomist, you’ll get to:

REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate or GED
Valid in‑state driver's license and suitable driving record
Must have personal reliable transportation
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Basic working knowledge of Windows operating system, keyboard usage and PC.
Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures and instructions.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, varied schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
