Overview

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Mount Airy, NC. This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.30/hr

Location and Schedule

Location: Mount Airy, NC 27030

Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $18 - 22.30/hour (Based on years of experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (35–45 per day) on diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Process specimens and perform rapid diagnostic testing (DT, flu, strep).
• Accurately complete data entry and ensure proper specimen labeling.
• Provide patient-facing support at the front desk, including check-ins and inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional draw room environment.
• Collaborate with a team member until 2:30 PM, then work independently to close the PSC.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and company protocols.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

Offered pay rate: Based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
