Job summary

Duly Health & Care is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Lisle, IL. You will perform venipuncture to collect blood from diverse age groups, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate logs.

Travel to multiple sites and strong patient service are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma, and either national phlebotomy certification or eligibility to sit for the exam, with prior phlebotomy experience or a certified phlebotomy program plus healthcare exposure

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, scheduled 8 hours vary between 7:00am-6:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
