Job summary

Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care in Elgin, IL is hiring a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain patient records across multiple sites. The position offers Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays and travel to additional sites as needed.

Required is a high school diploma; National Phlebotomy Certification or eligibility to sit for certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

As a Phlebotomist, you will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you! Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled 8 hours vary between 7:00am-6:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm Work Location: Elgin, Travel Required

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Education

High School graduate or equivalent required. National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred. Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred. Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
