SIMEDHealth's Gainesville laboratory is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. You will collect specimens with accuracy and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform venipuncture, collect urine samples, conduct drug screens, and enter patient information into our computer system while adhering to safety policies and delivering outstanding service to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• 1–2 years in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture on patients with precision and care.

In this role, you'll be a vital part of our laboratory, directly interacting with patients to collect specimens with accuracy and care. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential in our busy setting.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Performing venipuncture on patients with precision and care


• Collecting urine samples according to established protocols


• Conducting drug screens accurately


• Efficiently entering patient information into our computer system


• Ensuring the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste


• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions


• Performing various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying

What You'll Bring:
