Job summary

SIMEDHealth's Gainesville laboratory is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. You will perform venipuncture, collect urine samples, conduct drug screens, and enter patient data with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, and experience with electronic health records in a fast-paced medical setting. Excellent customer service, safety awareness, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program.
  • Previous experience with electronic health records.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred).
  • Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
  • Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture on patients with precision and care.
