Job summary

Premise Health in Clermont, FL is seeking a Full Time Phlebotomist to care for client employees and their dependents at our on-site Health Center. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with full-time benefits.

You will perform rooming, blood draws, labs, pre-employment exams, and daily phlebotomy while maintaining accurate health records and building strong patient relationships. This role requires current national phlebotomy certification and Basic Life Support; join a

Qualifications

• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required

Responsibilities

• Works independently and in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures
• Assists with supply inventory
• May instruct phlebotomy procedure for new employees
• Understands and abides by all of industry standards and Premise Health infection control guidelines and safety procedures;
• Knowledge of use of SDS material and emergency equipment in facility
• Proficient in phlebotomy skills, specimen collection, processing and assessing vital signs for patients
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Other duties as assigned

As a Full Time Phlebotomist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FL. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 4:00PM.

• Put your clinical skills to work every day through rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams, and daily phlebotomy while building strong patient relationships.
