Job summary

Jobtailor in Concord, NH is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to collect venous and capillary blood samples from patients of all ages. You will support lab operations, provide exceptional customer service to patients and department stakeholders, and assist in training staff on specimen collection, handling, and transport.

Responsibilities include complying with quality assurance standards, using Laboratory Information Systems, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Prior phlebotomy experience required.
  • No certification, registration, or licensure required.
  • Proficiency with hospital and laboratory information and technology systems.
  • Ability to collect, identify, label, handle, and transport venous and capillary blood specimens.
  • Ability to perform capillary glucose testing and related duties.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work with bloodborne and airborne pathogens and related hazards.
