Job Description: Phlebotomist at Incyte Diagnostics

Schedule: Morning hours, minimum of 25 hours per week, supporting operations at our clinic.

Role: The Phlebotomist will perform procedures including venipuncture and dermal punctures. The role involves collecting and processing laboratory specimens accurately and timely, maintaining records according to policies, procedures, and regulations.

You will:
  1. Collect, handle, and process specimens.
  2. Assist in maintaining laboratory areas, equipment, and supplies.
  3. Participate in committees and task forces.
  4. Adapt to new roles, responsibilities, demands, and technologies.
  5. Stay current on regulatory requirements.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Phlebotomy training preferred.
  • Active WA State MA-P certification or CMA, available during screening.
  • Prefer 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Skills and Abilities:
  • 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork, self-direction, and customer service focus.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
  • Availability to work five shifts/week, including some weekends.

Pay Range: $19.46 - $27.25 USD/hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, bonuses, etc. Offers are typically between the minimum and midpoint, depending on experience, with potential for growth.
