Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain and prepare specimens for analysis to support outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients. You will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and use a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety.

The successful candidate has completed an accredited phlebotomy program with national certification preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accredited phlebotomy program completed; national certification preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis under supervision.
• Use wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety.
• Support hospital operations across outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and ED.

Education

National phlebotomy certification (preferred)

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Phlebotomist, you will help the Laboratory obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis so they can provide accurate laboratory services vital for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

Every day you will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis. You will be expected to use a state‑of‑the‑art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic Phlebotomist who is passionate about the health and well‑being of our patients and have completed an accredited phlebotomy program (with national certification being preferred).

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred

• Previous experience in a health‑related field
• Phlebotomy Cert

Pay Range

$19.01 - $24.24 /hour
