Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 124 East Bandera Road, Suite 301, Boerne, TX 78006. Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, additional hours and weekends when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other relevant tests.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Incentive Program

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PSTs may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
