Job summary

Labcorp in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and collection of specimens with empathetic patient care. You will handle data entry, billing support, and ensure accurate specimen handling in a fast-paced, high-volume lab environment.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Round Rock, TX (78665). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (additional hours / rotating Saturdays will be requested as needed). Travel to additional sites when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)
• Current or prior LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
