Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, invites a Phlebotomist to join our Beckley, WV team. You will collect blood specimens, label samples, maintain equipment, and assist with donor screenings. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and a nationally accredited phlebotomy training.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred; An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy Preferred
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Experience: One year of experience preferred.
• Licenses: Certification from ASCP or NHA Preferred
• Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability, integrity, and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital department.
