An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join their team at the Beaverton Walk-In Clinic. The Phlebotomist collects blood, urine, stool, and sputum specimens from patients, as ordered by healthcare providers, for use in performing diagnostic or prognostic tests. The role provides clerical, transportation, and non-technical support to the laboratory. The primary focus is to deliver phlebotomy services to outpatients at the Beaverton Walk-In Clinic and support laboratory operations by ordering tests via the hospital information system (HIS) or laboratory information system (LIS). The position requires close collaboration with the Clinic Team and department staff to ensure prompt, courteous, and comprehensive service, maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach. Tasks are performed under the guidance of the Community Hematology Oncology (CHO) Laboratory Manager, fostering a collaborative environment that integrates education, research, and clinical leadership.

This role serves the Ambulatory Services at the Beaverton Walk-In Clinic. Work hours may vary based on clinic needs and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The position may require travel between laboratory or hospital sites, exposure to biohazards, chemical hazards, radiation, and working in noisy, crowded environments. PPE usage and temperature fluctuations are also possible.
