Job summary

Meyer Foundation in Washington, DC is seeking a Racial Equity in Philanthropy Fellow for a two-year, full-time position in our office. The Fellow will work with senior directors to advance racial equity through research, trainings, and capacity building.

The role includes developing equity indicators, planning events, supporting capacity-building programs, and conducting research. The Fellow will gather experience in philanthropy and must be available to work from our DC office for the duration

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of work experience in any field.
• Demonstrated personal commitment to racial equity.
• Curious about philanthropy and how foundations operate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of a regional racial equity indicator tool.
• Plan and facilitate external meetings, trainings, convenings and events; support internal culture and education activities.
• Support cohort-based capacity building programs and convenings to advance racial equity.
• Conduct, analyze and synthesize research on best practices in advancing racial equity.
• Provide project management, administrative assistance, and general support.
