Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a primary source of health information support across 8 Acute Care Hospitals and over 50 outpatient services. This role requires meticulous attention to documentation and adherence to legal regulations while providing exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in release of records in a healthcare setting.
• Record Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certificates preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for health information from patients and healthcare staff.
• Perform quality assessment reviews on health information disclosures.
• Provide customer service while adhering to confidentiality policies.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong computer proficiency (MS Office)

Ability to multitask

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
