Responsibilities
- Conduct aircraft operations and related job assignments in accordance with policies established in the General Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
- Ensure all flight, aircraft and passenger records are completed in a neat, timely and accurate fashion.
- Supervise other crewmembers in the performance of their duties.
- Ensure compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods in accordance with established policies.
- Review Flight/Maintenance Log, Form MF-9/MR-10 to ensure airworthiness and coordinate with maintenance personnel.
- Ensure preflight, post‑flight and routine servicing of the aircraft is accomplished per established policies.
- Coordinate client requests for itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Perform duties of Ground and In‑flight Security Coordinators per 40CFR1544.215(b‑c).
- Ensure manuals, charts and equipment are current and on board.
- Verify crew‑members and passengers have valid passports, immunizations, visas and clearances required for customs and agricultural inspections.
- Ensure international arrivals and departures comply with applicable regulations.
- Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations; ensure that no person other than a flight crew‑member manipulates aircraft controls.
- Identify, anticipate and take corrective action to minimize delays due to scheduling, crew legality and maintenance issues.
- Recommend process and communication improvements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all client aircraft operations and sensitive or security matters.
- Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as necessary.
Background and Qualifications
- Must have 3,000 hours total flight time and 1,500 hours total PIC time.
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part135 and Part91.
- Basic computer proficiency—Microsoft Office, iOS and other internet‑based programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
- Must hold EMB‑505 Type Rating.
- Must be able to lift 75lb. up a flight of aircraft stairs.
- Must have ATP Certificate.
- Must have Current First Class Medical and a clean record.
- Must have Valid & Unrestricted Passport.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Compensation
The compensation for this role is a fixed rate of $793.27 (daily), based on our good‑faith determination. Actual compensation is non‑negotiable and not subject to variation. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation earned at your daily rate and a comprehensive benefits package.
